Gimme an F: “F!”
That’s right an R and then two E’s.
I need a Verse: “Verse!”
Just soul clap and sing with me:
“We want it Fri, day! ‘Cuz Friday the Verse is Free!”
Welcome back, ya’ll, to the Change I Wish to See.

Morning.
So, uh, the hours are short over here. Packing and moving; moving and packing. That means I didn’t write anything for FVF today or dig something new out of a journal. Instead, I rehashed something I’ve already posted but with a new twist: a clip of me actually playing a part/preview of it.
I probably shouldn’t have done it. I don’t have the right audio equipment (MacBook’s embedded mic does, not, count). I did it in one take. I’m a songwriter, not a singer/guitarist. Blah blah. Etc.
But it’s up. On the You freaking Tube and below. It’s a little quiet (see the part about not having the right audio equip.), so you’ll have to turn your audio pretty high if you plan on listening.
The lyrics, again:

Happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by.

Awwwwwwwww…I love the video!!
I love these lyrics…I told you this when you first posted it…They REALLY REALLY hit home.
Good good. I’m always glad when they mean something to someone other than me.
[...] LOVE…this song by f.B. No really…go read the lyrics…and then watch him play it on his [...]
awww i love it! i love seeing people perform! it’s so cool. thanks for sharing
you have a nice voice.
Thank you for listening. Really.
Aw. This song makes me feel feelings. I like it.
Haha. Yeah. It might be a little early in the day for all of the feelings. But when I posted it, it was pretty late at night. So there’s that.
You have a wonderful voice…kinda Jack Johnsony.
I love Jack Johnson. So, um, I don’t even really know how to say “thanks” for that. But thank you.
That.Is.Awesome. You have a fantastic voice!
So where are you preforming so we can all go watch you?
Just my living room. But the new living room is big and fits a bunch of people!
Bravo my friend, bravo…
As I said when you first posted the lyrics to this, they are truly tremendous.
Thanks. I just wanted to write a break-up song something without angst, rage or tears.
Next time you want to make video you know you have a blog friend that’s a video producer
I didn’t know you played the guitar/sang/had music skills.
You rule.
I will definitely let you know. My video skills are weak.
If it’s possible, those lyrics hit even closer to home this time around. And I love hearing you sing and play.
Thank you.
Suhweet. I’ve always imagined writing for other people, but if there’s one song I’d be selfish about, it would be this one.
I’m not sure if you noticed but I totally just through my panties on stage. Seriously, I did.
(Which was kind of embarrassing since they just bounced off my monitor- at work.)
Haha. See that Tom Jones? Panty-ricochet. Take that.
Sorry- I did mean “Threw” I’m just all in a tizzy.
Total no-pressure grammar zone. Especially when you throw flattery and underwear.
Great lyrics and video! Your voice is very quiet and soft! Its nice.
Thanks! Yeah, I’m not much of a screamer. Annnnd… that sounded more awkward than I intended.
Sad yet beautiful at the same time. Love the lyrics! What a talent
Thank you. It is a little sad, but just honest.
This is gorgeous. Great job!
This is so wonderful! I’m glad you did this! makes me wonder why you went into law, and not music, or writing…. thanks for sharing!
